This
mothers words best explain this directory |
"I
am sure that many people question why parents
are putting memorial pages to their children on
the world web. To some it may seem unhealthy and
even inappropriate. It is of course a way to remember
our children, but it is far more than that. When
a parent has lost their child the best help they
can receive is from other parents who have suffered
the same loss and who fully understands that pain.
This grief is a total devastation of us and everything
our life has been. It is horrifying enough to
lose a child but to go through it alone is unbearable.
Many of these pages are an effort to reach out
and touch each other. Sometimes by sharing our
thoughts, we are able to give and receive comfort
and help from each other. If our words help even
one parent who has lost a child ~ they are important
and do deserve a place on the web. The internet
is the best way to reach those who are grieving
and need what little support we can offer to each
other."

Death
comes to all of us often unexpectedly. When it
comes due to old age we may be better able to accept
or understand it as we all someday will experience it.
The death of a child is not so easy and if it is an
only child or from a crime or suicide it is even harder.
No one experiences grief the same, some want to talk
about it and anther is silent. Men and women often grieve
differently as well as siblings, family and friends.
It is the mission of this directory to offer comfort
and resources to all who grieve and understanding to
others.
Joe Holmes webmaster and father of two angel children.
When we lose a child or loved one we
have two choices; we can be angry and blame God or we
can trust they are in the hands of a loving God. Anger
brings more pain and suffering see
pictures of thoughts, and trust with forgiveness
brings peace. See Forgiveness
brings peace No one experiences grief
the same and faith may or may not be enough for some.
No matter whether one has faith or without, ones emotions
affects their spiritual and physical health. Yet at
the same time no one can judge how or what another should
feel.
If you have
experienced the loss of a loved one and want to offer
advice, information or comfort for others please send
it and I will post it on this page. |
